Litchi can be grown in every district of Bangladesh, however, presently it is being grown mainly in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Mymensingh and Narayanganj. It stands second in production after mango among the tree fruits grown in the country.
